Local Students Prepare for NOLE Tank Competition
[PANAMA CITY, FL, March 21, 2014] -
Students of FSU Panama City were given the opportunity to enter their business
ideas into the first ever NOLE Tank competition hosted by the Business
Innovation Center (BIC) and sponsored by Florida First Capital Corporation.
The top five business ideas were chosen to go on to the next phase of
the competition. Students formed teams, and gathered resources and advisors to
help them develop their business plans and models.
In the final round the teams must pitch their business ideas to a
panel of judges composed of local entrepreneurs and business experts. The NOLE Tank final pitch
will take place on the Florida State University Panama City Campus in the Holly
Academic Center B210 Friday, April 11, 2014 beginning at 6pm.
“Creating an engaging environment that provides student’s insight to the start-up process has been great,” stated Pamela Kidwell, director of the Business Innovation Center.
