Bay EDA Opens Economic Development Center of Excellence

Last week community leaders cut the ribbon for the Bay Economic
Development Alliance’s (EDA) new economic development center of excellence. The EDA has joined CareerSource Gulf Coast’s board offices at Gulf Coast State College.
In July, the EDA moved from their former location on Jenks Avenue to the college. “The partnership with CareerSource Gulf Coast and Gulf Coast State College is a perfect fit for the EDA. This move aligns economic development, the college, FSU PC, workforce development and Port Panama City and places the EDA in the center of Bay County,” said EDA Chairman, John Juchniewicz.
